Merry Christmas, everyone!

I hope you have many fun things planned this week over the Christmas holiday!  I know we do.

Some things we’ve already done to celebrate the Christmas season:

– Attended the Duke Christmas Chorale in Duke Chapel
– Found the perfect Christmas tree on an obscure, back-woods farm in the mountains for just $10
– Decorated the house (inside and out)
– Participated in 3 gift exchanges
– Watched The Elf, The Holiday, The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe, How The Grinch Stole Christmas, and some Christmas episodes of The Offic
Drove through our neighborhood (2 different times) to take in all the many lights
– Wrapped a ton of presents
– Enjoyed many times over the A Charlie Brown Christmas album by the Vince Guaraldi Trio
– Went out on a Christmas date with my lovely wife
– Exchanged presents and stockings

Some things I’m still looking forward to:

– Making memories with my nieces and nephews
– Attending church on Christmas Eve
– Playing board games with the family
– Resting a lot
– A big Christmas Eve Dinner

I’ll be taking a bit of a break from blogging this week, but look for things to kick back into gear next week, and in the meanwhile you can check out all the great content that Nancy Ray has been posting lately.  Seriously good stuff!

Before signing this post off, I wanted to say a sincere “thank you” for stopping by my blog when you do.  I know how buys life can get, so it means all the more that you’d take a little bit of time to read some thoughts and insights.  I hope to continue to improve in the future to bring more value and enjoyment to you who read.

I hope you and yours have a very Merry Christmas and a wonderful and prosperous New Year!

I’m curious: What great Christmas tradition(s) have you done so far, or what tradition(s) are you looking forward to doing?
